Medeama Sporting Club from Ghana has landed in Tanzania in preparation for their upcoming face-off against Young Africans in the CAF Champions League.
As the Ghana Premier League Champions, they aim to secure a crucial away victory to advance their campaign in the group stage.
The team is scheduled to undergo training sessions in Tanzania on Monday evening and Tuesday, December 19, gearing up for the midweek clash on Wednesday, December 20, where Young Africans will host the Ghanaian Champions.
The initial leg of the game, held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Ghana, concluded in a 1-1 draw. Medeama SC seeks a win in the Round 4 contest of Group D to momentarily claim the top spot in the group standings.
Presently, the Yellow and Mauve outfit holds the second position in the CAF Champions League Group D standings with four points.
The upcoming clash will unfold at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
