Swindon Town Goalkeeper Joseph Luke Wallocott, has joined his Black Stars in Doha -Qatar as the team continues preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Wallocott alongside Daniel Amartey, Thomas Partey, Baba Iddrisu and the Ayew brothers are the latest to join coach Milovan Rajevac’s side who will play Algeria in a pre-Afcon friendly on Wednesday before the team jets off to Cameroon.
Ghana’s contingent are scheduled to depart Doha for Yaoundé on Friday, January 7, 2022 to take on the rest of Africa at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Ghana, four-time African Champions are pitted in Group C with Morocco, Gabon and Comoros.
Meanwhile, Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac on Monday 3rd January, 2022 announced his final 28-man squad for the tournament.
