Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has jumped to the defense of Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah.
The agile forward lasted sixty minutes against Chippa United over the weekend against Chippa United and his coach says he won’t blame him for his performance.
“Same like with the everybody else, I’m not going to individualize Peprah because he was the one who played today 60 minutes. He was sharing the field with 10 more players that all had situations, not all, but many of them had situations to score. Peprah is doing well and that’s why he is in the starting eleven. He has grown the level of confidence and like I said it is very difficult to score a goal, it is not easy, so little by little.”Riveiro told the media.
Peprah, 22, was Pirates joint top scorer last season with seven goals.
