The Ghana Police Service is actively pursuing suspects involved in the attack on Maxwell Konadu, the Nsoatreman coach, following the draw between Bofoakwa Tano and Nsoatreman FC in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
The former Black Stars coach was assaulted by home fans, resulting in him being unconscious and subsequently hospitalized.
The police are on a manhunt to apprehend those responsible. Additionally, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council has banned Bofoakwa Tano’s home grounds, the Sunyani Coronation Park.
Bofoakwa Tano’s recent performance includes just one win in their last eight league matches.
