Ghana’s Black Galaxies drew goalless against the host nation of the 2023 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament on Saturday afternoon.
The local senior national team held the Algerians to an impressive 0-0 draw in Algiers ahead of the 2023 CHAN tournament which starts on January 13.
Both teams created decent chances in the opening 45 minutes of the match as they both failed to convert the chances into goals in the highly competitive game.
Coach Annor Walker and his technical team would be happy with the score line of the game ahead of the tournament opener against Madagascar on Sunday, January 15 at 7pm.
Ghana are making their first appearance at the tournament since 2014 and missing three straight editions of the competition.
