Black Stars forward Prince Kwabena Adu has described his inclusion in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as a significant achievement, acknowledging the intense competition for places within the national team.
The striker is among several players preparing to represent Ghana at football’s biggest tournament after earning a place in Carlos Queiroz’s final squad for the competition in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
For Adu Kwabena, the call-up represents the reward for years of hard work and dedication, particularly given the wealth of football talent available across the country.
Reflecting on his selection, the forward expressed appreciation for the opportunity to be part of the Black Stars setup at such a prestigious event.
“There are a lot of footballers in Ghana, so just getting noticed is a plus,” he said.
