Ghanaian striker Prince Kwabena Adu continued his strong form in the Czech Fortuna Liga after scoring in Viktoria Plzen’s 2–1 win over FK Mlada Boleslav on Sunday.

Adu, who has been in excellent form this season, opened the scoring just after halftime. The 22-year-old reacted quickly inside the penalty area and finished calmly following a smart square pass from Liberian midfielder Sampson Dweh.

The goal gave Plzen control of the match, and they doubled their lead in the 82nd minute through Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi, who finished off a well-worked team move started by former Czech international Matej Vydra.

Boleslav managed to pull a goal back in the 87th minute when Matyas Vojta converted a late chance, creating a tense finish. However, Plzen held on to secure all three points.

Adu’s latest strike brings his season tally to six goals in 16 league games, showing how important he has become to the Plzen attack.

His impressive club form follows a major moment in his career—making his Ghana national team debut earlier this month in friendly matches against Japan and South Korea.

With his confidence high and his performances improving, Prince Kwabena Adu is emerging as one of Ghana’s brightest young forwards ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
