Prince Okoto Ntiamoah has been appointed as the centre referee for the Ghana Premier League encounter between Karela United and Asante Kotoko scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

The experienced official will be assisted by Richard Nartey and Joshua Agbo as assistant referees for the match. Ayaaba Ibrahim has been assigned as the fourth referee to support the officiating team.

James Mornah will serve as the match commissioner to supervise the organisation and ensure the match is conducted in line with league regulations, while Sey Mubarik will operate as the venue media officer.

The fixture is expected to be one of the most talked-about matches of the weekend as Kumasi Asante Kotoko continue their campaign in the Ghana Premier League. Kotoko, one of the most decorated football clubs in Ghana, will be aiming to secure an important victory away from home as they push for a strong position on the league table.

Karela United, however, are also expected to put up a determined performance in front of their supporters at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. The home side will be hoping to take advantage of their familiarity with the venue to challenge the Porcupine Warriors.

Meanwhile, several other Ghana Premier League fixtures will also be played across the country on the same day with different match officials appointed to handle the games.

Alex Amoabeng will officiate the match between Aduana FC and Eleven Wonders at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park. He will be assisted by Abraham Partey and Haruna Yakubu, while Nana Kofi Amoah will act as the fourth referee. Mohammed Alhassan will serve as the match commissioner, with Ampaabeng Vincent working as the venue media officer.

At the Wenchi Sports Complex, Robert Musey will handle the match between Young Apostles and Goldstars. He will work with assistant referees Kofi Nyarko Bakae and Micheal Alugmi. Mohammed Misbaou has been named as the fourth referee, Kwasi Asante as the match commissioner, and Abdul Mumin as the venue media officer.

Maxwell Hanson has also been appointed to officiate the encounter between Medeama SC and Hohoe United at the TnA Stadium. Alex Osam and Tijani Mohammed will assist him on the lines, while Laud Nettey will serve as the fourth referee. William Quaye will act as the match commissioner with Richard Baffour Nkrumah performing duties as venue media officer.

In another fixture, Hassim Yakubu will officiate the game between Heart of Lions and Swedru All Blacks at the Kpando Stadium. Ali Timuah and Sulemanna Salau Deen will assist as assistant referees, while Rustum Gameli Senorgbe will be the fourth referee. Ali Plato will supervise the match as commissioner and Eric Eli Adzie will operate as venue media officer.

Earlier appointments also indicate that Gabriel Opoku Arhin will officiate another league fixture with George A. Akisiboka and Halilu Alhassan assisting him, while Adaari Abdul Latif will serve as the fourth referee. Micheal Ayeh will act as the match commissioner with Sena Richards working as the venue media officer. The match will also be covered live by the GFA cameraman.
