Chelsea FC has announced the successful agreement with Ato Ampah, a promising young Ghanaian winger.

The discussions between Chelsea’s youth management and Ampah’s entourage were swift, and on Friday afternoon, the 17-year-old signed a two-year contract until June 2025, in the presence of his family.

Ampah has shown great potential in the Chelsea u-18 team, scoring two goals and providing five assists in 13 league games this season.

He joined Chelsea at the Under-11 level and debuted for the Under-18s last year, featuring in a total of five games.

Chelsea FC described Ampah as a dynamic and speedy attacking player who can perform in various forward positions.

“Ato Ampah is a very quick and dynamic attacking player who can play in a number of forward positions,” Chelsea FC stated.

Additionally, Ampah demonstrated his abilities by scoring in the Chelsea u-18’s Premier League match against Fulham on April 26th, which they lost 5-2.
