Prosper Ogum names Asante Kotoko’s 20-man squad traveling list to face Nations FC; Baba Yahaya returns, Blay, Morrison excluded

Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has finalized his 20-man squad for the upcoming clash against Nations FC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday, October 23, 2023.

The squad is well-balanced, consisting of two goalkeepers, six defenders, ten midfielders, and two strikers.

Notable mentions include the absence of midfield duo Justice Blay and Enock Morrison, who will not be making the trip to Abrankese. However, the squad welcomes back Rocky Dwamena and Baba Yahaya for the match-day 6 Ghana Premier League encounter.

Nations FC enters the match with a record of one win, two losses, and one draw, with their sole victory achieved at home against FC Samartex.

Asante Kotoko has a history of facing newly promoted sides on the road since the 2021/22 season, featuring in seven such encounters. They’ve won three, drawn three, suffered one defeat, scored nine goals, and conceded six.
