‘Proud to represent the Black Stars’ – Kwasi Okyere Wriedt

Germany Bundesliga 2 side Holstein Kiel forward Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has expressed how it feels to be donning the famous Ghana jersey at the senior level of international football.

The attacker says he’s proud to be playing for the Black Stars team as he prepares for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar in Antananarivo on June 18.

“Proud to represent the Black Stars” he wrote on social media ahead of the Sunday game in AFCON qualifiers.

Okyere Wriedt has been with the Black Stars team for a while now but is yet to get a permanent place in the team since his first call-up in may 2018 by then head coach Kwesi Appiah.
