Ghanaian lawyer and former boss of Ghana Boxing Association, Moses Foh-Amoaning is dreaming of a Black Stars team that will include quartet, Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Salisu, Alfred Duncan and Inaki Williams.
According to him the Black Stars will need trio – Mohammed Salisu, Alfred Duncan and Tariq Lamptey to beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a crunch 2022 World Cup playoff for Qatar later this month.
“Imagine this Black Stars with Salisu [Mohammed], Tariq Lamptey, with Duncan, with the Inaki brothers, imagine the Black Stars with all these players, imagine the quality that we will have because we don’t even have the people to put the ball in the net”, Foh Amoaning said.
Ghana performed abysmally at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon and are hoping to appease their fans with a world cup qualification next month.
Ghana seems to be lacking quality players in recent times after failing on countless occasions trying to convince Ghanaian born outside to play for the Black Stars.
