RB Leipzig have secured another young Nigerian attacking option for the future, with Suleman Sani completing a move from Slovak top-flight side AS Trenčín. The 19-year-old winger has signed a contract valid until 30th June 2031 and will wear the number 18 shirt.
Born on 1st September 2006, Sani made the move to Europe in September 2024 from Nigerian club Akwa United and quickly picked up valuable senior experience at AS Trenčín. Across 59 competitive appearances at club level to date, the right-footer has scored 16 goals and provided seven assists.
Sani also featured for AS Trenčín in the UEFA Youth League and caught the eye on the international stage with Nigeria at the U-20 World Cup.

Bringing Suleman in now is a move made with the summer in mind, as the opportunity arose to secure him on a permanent deal. He gives us greater depth and flexibility out wide.
