PSG star Kylian Mbappé formalized his contract extension a few minutes before the kick-off of the last match of the season against Metz at home on Saturday.

This represents the fourth time Real Madrid have failed to land their top transfer target of the last few seasons.

Kylian Mbappé spoke before the match against FC Metz.

“Kylian is Paris”. A moment in the history of PSG was played around 8:50 p.m. this Saturday, May 21, 2022. Kylian Mbappé entered the pitch of the Parc des Princes alongside President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and it was enough to see the smile of the two men to understand that a beautiful and grandiose news awaited all the supporters of France and elsewhere.

“Good evening everyone, I am very happy to continue the adventure. Glad to stay here in France, in my city. I have always said that Paris is my home, and I hope that I will continue to do what I love the most, which is to play football and win trophies,” said soberly the French international before wearing a white t-shirt with the slogan celebrating the great information of this transfer window.

Just before, the Park had been white-hot by President Al-Khelaifi, very proud of his coup. ” I have a good new. Kylian Mbappé will stay until 2025.

“Since the first day he came, he has believed in the project and he will continue to create the PSG project. I thank Kylian’s family, Kylian too. I thank you too, the supporters, in France and around the world. I would also like to thank all the teams and the PSG family.”

The 2018 world champion also spoke in the official press release published by the club.

“I am convinced that here I can continue to grow within a club which gives itself all the means to perform at the highest level. I am also very happy to be able to continue to evolve in France, the country where I was born, grew up and flourished, he says. It is together, united and ambitious, that we will take up the most magical bets. »
