Legendary South African coach. Pitso Mosimane has commended Percy Tau for apologising to South Africans for missing a penalty against Mali in the 2023 AFCON opener.

On his X wall, Pitso Mosimane wrote
“Real men are not shy to apologise. We have to move on, and we can still qualify beyond the group stages.

Pitso Mosimane was satisfied with the Bafana Bafana performance as he encouraged them to play the same or improve upon it against Namibia.

“We have to play the same or better than the way we played in the first half.
Besides the penalty you missed, your aggressive forward runs were threatening and gave Mali problems”, concluded Mosimane.

Percy Tau missed a crucial penalty and forced Camara to make an incredible save as South Africa was pretty good in the first half.

South Africa will play against Namibia on 21st January and can’t afford to lose.
