CAF have invited Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu for the 2023 African Nations Championship draw in Algeria according to reports.
Badu has featured for the Black Stars in the Africa Cup of Nations in the past, putting up impressive performances.
This time, he will only join the draw as a guest as he is currently not part of Ghana’s CHAN team.
The draw will be conducted on Saturday, 01 October 2022 at 19h00 local time (18h00 GMT) at the Opera House, the beautiful architectural building in Algeria’s capital Algiers.
18 teams are expected to compete in the tournament, an increase from the initial 16 teams.
The participating countries are: Algeria (host country), Morocco, Libya, Senegal, Mali, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Niger, Ghana, Cameroon, Congo, DR Congo, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Angola and Madagascar.
