Former Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has applauded Mas-Ud Didi Dramani for his impressive start as head coach of Hearts of Oak, stating that early results have justified the club’s decision to appoint him.

Konadu, who was previously linked with the Hearts job before Dramani’s appointment, believes the Phobians made the right choice after the team’s recent improvement in performances and results.

Dramani, who signed a two-year contract with the club, has guided Hearts to a consistent run of form, keeping them firmly in contention near the top of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League standings.

Speaking to 3 Sports, Konadu noted that Ghana has several capable coaches, but success ultimately depends on selecting the right fit for a team.

“If Hearts of Oak have gone for him, the results are now showing that they made the right decision,” Konadu said.
“There are many big coaches in the country. Once you make the right choice and it works for you, then it is okay. So far, he is doing well, and that is good.”

Hearts of Oak currently occupy third place on the league table with 40 points, sitting five points behind leaders Medeama SC as the title race intensifies.
