Peter Amidu and Latvian top-flight side Riga FC are at the centre of growing transfer discussions, as the European club shows strong interest in signing the Asante Kotoko winger ahead of the new season.

The Latvian Premier League outfit has been monitoring the attacker for some time, with negotiations reported to have been ongoing for several months. The move is gaining attention as Amidu is expected to become a free agent at the end of the current season.

With his contract situation making him an attractive option, Riga FC are believed to be positioning themselves early to secure his services without a transfer fee. The winger’s pace and attacking qualities have made him a standout option on the radar of the Latvian club.

As the season draws closer to an end, all eyes remain on how talks will progress and whether Peter Amidu will take the next step in his career with a move abroad.
