Hearts of Oak have revealed that their long-standing defender, Robert Addo, will be departing from the club ahead of the upcoming season.
The 29-year-old player, who has been a part of Hearts of Oak since 2016, was not offered a new contract as his current one came to an end.
Through their official social media channels, the club officially announced Robert Addo’s departure after his impressive seven-year tenure with the team.
Addo, who initially joined from lower-tier side PureJoy FC (now Uncle T FC), has made a notable impact during his time at Hearts of Oak, boasting 84 appearances in the Premier League.
He played a crucial role in the club’s league triumph during the 2020/22 Premier League season and contributed significantly to their success in clinching the MTN FA Cup twice, in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons, as well as two President Cup titles.
