Ghanaian-French defender Beres Owusu produced another commanding defensive display for Grazer AK as they secured a convincing 2–0 victory over Wolfsberger AC.

The 22-year-old centre-back played the full 90 minutes, once again demonstrating his reliability and consistency at the heart of Grazer AK’s defence. Owusu was calm and composed throughout the match, helping his side maintain a clean sheet while limiting Wolfsberger AC’s attacking threats.

Defensively, the young centre-back delivered an impressive performance backed by strong statistics. Owusu recorded 2 interceptions, 4 clearances, and 8 recoveries, showcasing his excellent reading of the game and ability to regain possession for his team. He also proved efficient in challenges, winning his only tackle attempt (1/1) during the match.

In aerial situations, the Ghanaian defender also held his own, winning 2 of his 3 aerial duels, which further highlighted his physical presence and defensive awareness. His performance was crucial in ensuring Grazer AK remained solid at the back throughout the contest.

The match also continued a remarkable run for Owusu this season. The defender has now made 21 appearances, and notably started every single game while completing the full 90 minutes in all of them. Such consistency underlines the trust the coaching staff has placed in him as one of the key pillars of the team’s defensive structure.

In addition to his defensive duties, Owusu has also contributed offensively this season, scoring one goal for Grazer AK. While his primary responsibility remains defending, his ability to pose a threat during set pieces adds another dimension to his overall game.

Owusu’s consistent performances have made him one of the most dependable defenders in the squad. Week after week, he continues to show maturity, composure, and leadership qualities despite being only 22 years old.

The Ghanaian-French centre-back is steadily building a strong reputation in European football. If he maintains this level of performance, Beres Owusu could soon attract attention from bigger clubs while continuing to develop into one of the most reliable defenders in his league.
