Rock-Solid Center-back Alexander Djiku has been excluded from the Black Stars team for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central Africa Republic.
The RC Strasbourg Alsace defender has been replaced with another French Ligue 1 player, Alidu Seidu who plays for Clermont Foot FC.
Djiku has been very consistent for the Black Stars since he was handed a call-up by former Black Stars coach CK Akonnor.
According to media reports, the player was excluded to help him sort his club future due to the expiration of his contract with the France outfit.
Ghana will play Madagascar on June 1st at the Cape Coast stadium before the second game against Central Africa Republic in a week time.
