Leicester City manager Brendan Rogers has revealed why Daniel Amartey came in for Timothy Castagne in the first half against Bournemouth.
Rodgers revealed that Castagne who has a poor record of head injuries was elbowed in the face in the 24th minute and he had to be substituted for Amartey looking at his head injury history.
“Tim, if you see his eye, he’s got a really bad knock on his eye socket, which he has had problems with before. He was starting to suffer a wee bit on that side with that and he had to come out for Amartey. Jamie alsi came in after Patson had put in a real good shift.” Rodgers stated
Leicester City have been poor this season and are wallowing in the relegation zone with four points from nine games played.
