Former Ghana U-20 coach Kwadwo Boateng, commonly known as Opeele, has charged the Ghana Football Association to sack Black Stars manager Milovan Rajevac.
His call comes in the wake of Ghana’s shambolic 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament exit on Tuesday.
The four-time African Champions, shockingly loss 2:0 to Comoros in the final group stage game on Tuesday night to exit Africa’s biggest football competition.
The Black Stars could only pick a point at the tournament after a 1:1 draw against Gabon in their second group C game, losing their opening and final match to Morocco and Comoros respectively.
According to the coach, the Serbian manager performed poorly at the tournament and wants him replaced with former Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko.
Reacting to Ghana’s painful exit via a Facebook post, the former Asante Kotoko trainer said: “Sack Milo, Give Black Stars to Ibrahim Tanko.”
