Former Hearts of Oak star Charles Taylor has urged the Ghana Football Association and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to sack Otto Addo before the 2022 World Cup begins.
The Black Stars have generally struggled under Otto Addo after securing qualification to the 2022 World Cup. They lost 3-0 to Brazil and struggled to a 1-0 win over Nicaragua.
Taylor does not think the former Black Stars player is suitable for the head coach role.
“I have said for Otto Addo, he is not a coach to lead Ghana to the World Cup. Because he has the team all right but he does not know how to organize them,” he told Angel TV.
“So we should rather look for those who can put the team together so that the players who are actively playing will be handed the start while those who are not playing actively will be on the bench,” he added.
Ghana has been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
