Iddrisu Shaban, a promising young player for division one side, Vision Football Club, has tragically passed away after sustaining a severe head injury during a training session.
Shaban, a gifted athlete, was admitted to the hospital following the fall, where he received critical care for several days.
Despite the efforts of medical staff at the Tamale Teaching Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries this morning.
Described as a remarkable individual, Shaban showcased immense talent and regularly represented the club during both training sessions and match days.
His most recent appearance was on February 10th against Tamale Dreams FC, where he played a pivotal role, contributing an assist in a significant victory.
In a statement released by the club, they expressed their deepest condolences to Shaban’s father, mother, and all family and friends affected by this devastating loss.
