Mali coach Tom Saintfiet has urged the Black Stars of Ghana to be cautious of forward Dorgeles Nene, describing him as an “original street footballer” capable of deciding matches on his own.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s 2026 World Cup qualifier, Saintfiet highlighted Nene’s creativity, unpredictability, and ability to produce moments of brilliance when it matters most.
“Dorgeles is a special player, an original street footballer,” Saintfiet said. “He has that natural flair and can change the outcome of any game within seconds. Ghana must be wary of him.”
The Red Bull Salzburg winger has been in fine form for Mali, impressing with his pace, dribbling, and sharp finishing. With both countries seeking a crucial victory, Nene is expected to play a key role in Mali’s attacking setup.
The Black Stars, however, remain confident ahead of the clash, with coach Otto Addo working on strategies to neutralize Mali’s threats while capitalizing on Ghana’s own attacking strength.
