Mohammed Salisu and Antoine Semenyo have both withdrawn from the Black Stars camp after sustaining injuries ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly against South Korea.
Team medics confirmed that defender Mohammed Salisu is suffering from a bilateral medial collateral ligament sprain, a condition verified by both his club, Monaco, and the national team’s medical staff.
Forward Antoine Semenyo has also been sidelined with a left anterior talo-fibula ligament sprain, an injury that worsened during the match against Japan. He was substituted in the 55th minute, with Prince Kwabena Adu taking his place.
Their absence adds to the earlier loss of Francis Abu, leaving Coach Otto Addo with 19 players to complete preparations for the match scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul.
The Black Stars will now turn to their remaining squad members as they aim to put up a strong performance despite the setbacks.
