‘Salisu can be good back up to Djiku and Amartey”- Agyemang Badu

Ghanaian international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says Mohammed Salisu should be in the Ghana team for the 2022 world cup.

Agyemang-Badu insists the Southampton guardsman will be a good cover for Amartey and Djiku at the world cup and it will be prudent if he gets into the ream early and becomes familiar with his mates.

“Salisu is a good player and can be a back up to Amartey and Djiku. He needs to join the team early, for instance, to play in the AFCON 2023 qualifiers so as to know his team mates to avoid any problems to the team.” Agyemang-Badu told Hot FM

Salisu has previously rejected five call ups to join the Black Stars but could be in the team for the impending world cup.

The Black Stars are drawn in Group H with Uruguay, Portugal and South Kprea,
