Samartex FC’s head coach, Nurudeen Ahmed, is content with his team’s performance after securing an away stalemate against Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League.
The Timber Boys held the Dade Boys to an intense goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
“It’s an away game, and Olympics is a strong team that has not lost a home match, making it more difficult. They have an experienced coach, so picking a point means we are on course, and at least our away performance is gradually picking up,” he expressed to StarTimes.
Samartex currently holds the 4th position on the Ghana Premier League table with 17 points after eleven games in the ongoing campaign.
The Timber Boys will host Real Tamale United in the week 12 fixture at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex on Sunday.
