Legon Cities coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has praised Samartex’s performance in the eighth matchday of the Ghana Premier League.
The Royals suffered a 3-0 defeat against the Timber Boys at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Goals from Emmanuel Mamah, Emmanuel Keyekeh, and Michael Epshon secured a decisive victory for the hosts. After the match, Fabin acknowledged that Samartex outperformed his team and rightfully earned the victory.
Fabin stated, “Samartex played well and took their chances in the game. At the end of the day, we lost so we will go back to the drawing board and work on the weaknesses we saw in our match against Samartex before our next game” he said.
Legon Cities will face Medeama in the ninth matchday of the Ghana Premier League at the El-Wak Stadium.
