Former Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu, has been appointed as the assistant coach for the Black Galaxies.
This move follows Boadu’s departure from his role as the coach for the Black Satellites.
The Ghana Football Association officially confirmed Boadu’s new role on Monday, and he is set to commence his duties promptly.
Boadu previously served as the head coach for Hearts of Oak, where he steered the team to their first Ghana Premier League title in over a decade in 2021. Additionally, he guided the club to victory in two FA Cup tournaments. However, his tenure at Hearts of Oak ended late last year due to unsatisfactory results.
Currently, Boadu is serving as a temporary coach for Division Two side Kumasi Cornerstone. He was also linked to the coaching position at Aduana Stars, although the role ultimately went to Yaw Acheampong.
