Yasser H. Almisehal, the President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, has conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to President Simeon-Okraku on his re-election as the President of the Ghana Football Association.
This congratulatory message was conveyed in a letter dated Thursday, October 5, 2023.
President Simeon-Okraku garnered an overwhelming show of support from delegates, securing 117 out of the 120 total votes cast during an Elective Congress held in Tamale.
The letter from President Almisehal stated, “Dear President Okraku, On behalf of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, I would like to congratulate you for your re-election as President of the Ghana Football Association for the term 2023 – 2027, following the elective General Assembly held today. We hope to carry on our fruitful cooperation following our agreement signed in November 2022, and we wish you a very successful mandate. While we look forward to seeing you soon, please accept, dear President Okraku, my warmest regards” the letter read.
