Scottish Championship club St Johnstone have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian forward Alfredo Agyeman from Falkirk Football Club.
Alfredo (25) arrives at McDiarmid Park until the end of the season.
He joined Falkirk in the summer of 2023 and scored 14 times in just over 50 appearances across their successful League One campaign, before then playing a key role in The Bairns’ title-winning Championship season.
On joining Saints, Agyeman said: “I spoke to the gaffer to get a good understanding of the style of play and the ambition of the club. He demands a lot from the players and I’m determined to give him what he is looking for.
“I felt that this was a good decision for me. I want to bring a directness. I’m not scared to take people on. I want to come in and help this team to be even better. You always want to show how good you can be.
“I really can’t wait to get started and to get a full week of training with the team. There are a lot of games coming up for us, but of course we will take them one at a time.”
Alfredo, who met his new team-mates on Tuesday morning, added: “This league can be crazy at times. You need to always make sure you are ruthless. It is a tough league, but I have quickly seen the determination and ambition that everyone at this club has.”
