Scottish Premiership giants Aberdeen FC are closely monitoring the progress of talented Ghanaian defender Nurudeen Abdulai, according to GHANAsoccernet.com.
The 19-year-old, who has caught the eye of several European clubs, is being touted as a promising prospect with a bright future ahead.
Abdulai, who has already impressed in the Ghana Premier League and earned a call-up to the Black Stars, is being eyed by Aberdeen FC as a potential signing. The Scottish side is reportedly willing to discuss a developmental package with Medeama SC, Abdulai’s current club, to bring the youngster to Pittodrie Stadium.
However, Aberdeen FC will face stiff competition from other clubs in England, Denmark, and Norway, who are also keen on securing Abdulai’s services. The talented defender has been included in Medeama’s pre-season squad and is expected to leave the Ghana Premier League before its kick-off on September 6, 2024.
Abdulai has consistently impressed in the Ghana Premier League, helping Medeama SC win the title for the first time in the 2022/23 season. His impressive form has earned him a call-up to the Black Stars and a spot in coach Chris Hughton’s provisional squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
As interest in Abdulai grows, it remains to be seen which club will ultimately secure his signature this summer.
