Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo is pleased after scoring in Bristol City’s 1-1 draw with Coventry on Sunday.
Semenyo netted the equalizer in the 28th minute for Bristol after Jack Bidwell had given the home side the lead in the 12th minute.
The talented attacker was happy with his goal as he hopes to do more.
“I’m feeling good, Obviously, I haven’t been in the team as much recently, but I’ve played both of the last two and I tried to contribute as much as I could. I’m happy to contribute with a goal today,” he told Bristol City press.
“It’s a positive dressing room today. There are still things we can work on like being more clinical in the box but we’re together and there’s great cohesion in the group.”
Semenyo has his eyes fixed on the FA Cup third round clash against Swansea next week and he is sure they can get a good results.
“We’re looking forward to the next game. We don’t want to be conceding and then having to react, we want to be at our best from the get-go,”
“We have to keep going and keep pushing but we’ll take the point today.” He added.
The forward has netted four goals and provided two assists for Bristol City in the league so far this season.
