Talented Ghanaian defender Abdul Rahman Baba is happy with Ghana’s 3-1 penalty shootout victory over Chile in the third placed match of the 2022 Kirin Cup in Japan.
Ghana ended the game with nine men as midfielder Mubarak Wakaso as well as guardsman Alidu Seidu were sent off in the second half.
Baba who put up a superb showing in the game with his marauding runs down the left flank coupled with excellent defending was elated with the output of the Black Stars though he admits the team can even get better.
“Massive fighting spirit from the guys today. More work to be done. Time for a rest now and go again shortly.” He tweeted.
KAS Eypen keeper Manaf Nurudeen save two penalties as Ghana won the game 3-1.
