Italian Serie A side Bologna have promoted Ghanaian teen sensation Ebenezer Annan to their first-team squad for the upcoming 2021/22 campaign.
Annan, 18, played in Primavera side of the Serie A side last season, where he made 12 caps for the U19 side.
After showcasing his talent at the U19s Bologna manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has seen it necessary to promote the budding defender to the first team squad.
The youngster came off the bench to play for the Emilia-Romagna-based outfit in their 3-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund in a pre-season game on Friday afternoon.
He becomes the latest Ghanaian to play for the Bologna first-team squad after Godfred Donsah who is still under contract at the club but spent last season on loan at Çaykur Rizespor.
Annan was scouted in Ghana and sent to Bologna by famous Ghanaian player agent Oliver Arthur.
