Italian Serie A side Spezia have rejected an offer from Sassuolo for the services of Ghanaian forward  Emmanuel Quartsin Gyasi.

The Green and Blacks outfit have identified the Ghanaian international as the immediate replacement for Ivorian forward Jeremie Boga, who is close to joining Europa League side Atalanta Bergamo.

According to the trusted news agency in Italy, La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Little Eagles(SpeziaCalcio) are not interested in selling the player whom they consider as one of their star players.

Riccardo Pecini, the Sports Director for Spezia Calcio have rejected the deal because the club believes it is not a good idea to allow important players leave the club in the middle of the season as they hope to avoid relegation.

The 27-year-old versatile forward has scored three goals in 18 matches this season in the Italian Serie A for the Black and Whites outfit.

It is also believed that, clubs from France and Spain are keeping tabs on the player whose current contract expires in 2023 summer.
