AC Milan inched closer to securing the Serie A title after defeating Atalanta 2-0 at the San Siro on Sunday evening.

After the first 45 minutes of the match ended goalless, Rafael Leao opened the scoring for the home side 11 minutes into the second half.

Theo Hernandez secured the win in the 75th minute with a superb individual effort that started him picking up the ball in his own half.

Milan will head into the final game of the season with their destiny in their own hands next weekend.

Cagliari 1-3 Inter Milan

Inter Milan ensured the Serie A title race will be decided on the final day of the season with a 3-1 win over Cagliairi on Sunday night.

The defending champions raced into a two-goal lead thanks to strikes from Matteo Darmian and Lautaro Martinez.

Charalampos Lykogiannis pulled a goal back for Cagliari on 53 minutes, but Martinez sealed the win with his second goal in the 84th minute.

Napoli 3-0 Genoa

Napoli proved too strong for Genoa in their final home game of the season after registering a 3-0 win on Sunday afternoon.

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen opened the scoring with his 14th goal of the campaign, while Lorenzo Insigne doubled in his final game in Naples.

Stanislav Lobotka rounded off the scoring for Napoli, who have third spot wrapped up with a game to spare.

Bologna 1-3 Sassuolo

Sassuolo ended a run of four games without a win after defeating Bologna 3-1 at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Gianluca Scamacca bagged a brace while Domenico Berardi added to score-sheet for the visitors, while Riccardo Orsolini bagged the hosts’ consolation.
