Elmina Sharks coach Kobina Amissah has responded to allegations by Kotoko gaffer Prosper Narteh that the central region side were helped by referee Abdullah Ibrahim in their 2-1 win over Kotoko on Monday.

Amissah indicated his side went all out for the win and did not get any helping hand from the referee as his counterpart is suggesting.

“Referee Abdullah Ibrahim didn’t aid our victory against Asante Kotoko. Kotoko played very good football but I think we played our best game and we were very determined for the win. Coach prosper Narteh’s comment is very unfortunate.” Amissah told Oyerepa FM.

Sharks are still bottom of the league log with just nine points whereas Kotoko remain top with 33 points after fifteen game.
