Former Ghana International Anthony Baffoe has cautioned the Black Stars players ahead of their crucial 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament’s second group C game against Gabon on Friday.
The four-time African Champions suffered a 1-0 loss to Algeria bin their opening game and will need a win against Aubameyang’s Gabon to keep them in the competition.
Addressing the players ahead of Friday’s crucial tie, the former Caf deputy General Secretary insisted captain that Arsenal star Thomas Partey, captain Andre Ayew and brother Jordan together with some senior players in the team can not afford to have a bad day in the game.
He, however, sounded very confident and urged the team to work assiduously to ensure Gabon falls in the big match.
He says: “You have been in the team for long. You can’t allow yourself to have a bad day. It is not possible to have a bad day. Sweat for the nation, sweat for the flag of Ghana and sweat for your families”
