Ghana’s Black Galaxies captain Gladson Awako has described his club coach, Slavko Matic’s understanding of football as tremendous.
He says the Serbian gaffer is a great coach to work with and he’s a good leader and a father to all the players of the club.
“He is such a great coach to work with. He is a good leader and a father to all of us. His understanding of the game is tremendous and I believe that has helped us a lot in the completions”.
Hearts of Oak SC are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions since Matic was announced by the club as its new gaffer.
Awako helped the Phobians win the 2021-22 MTN FA Cup competition as the club made it back-to-back wins.
Awako is currently in Egypt with the Black Galaxies team as they prepare for the upcoming 2023 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament in Algeria next month.
