Slovan Bratislava is thrilled to welcome Rahim Ibrahim to their squad after securing his transfer from AC Trencin. The club’s general director, Ivan Kmotrík Jr., expressed his excitement about the signing, describing Ibrahim as a player they have admired for a long time.
“I am really happy that we managed to secure the transfer of Rahim Ibrahim. We have been interested in him for a long time. Again, he is a player who is proven by our competition.”
Ibrahim, a 23-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, has signed a four-year contract with the Slovakian champions. His move is part of a deal that also sees Artus Gadjos join AC Trencin on loan until the end of the season.
Slovan Bratislava worked closely with Trencin to finalize the transfer, and Kmotrík Jr. praised the smooth negotiations between the two clubs.
“I would like to emphasize that we have once again managed to find common ground with Trenčín on the terms of the transfer, which I perceive extremely positively. In the past, we have encountered problems in this area in Slovakia. I am all the more pleased that Trenčín approached the negotiations professionally, and we also found agreement on the transfer fee.”
Ibrahim arrives in Bratislava with 98 matches of experience in Slovakian football, making him a valuable addition to the team.
