Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong is on cloud nine after netting brace in the German Bundesliga today.
The Dutch-born Ghanaian right-back dazzled for Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Saturday afternoon in the German Bundesliga at the Bay Arena.
The defender scored twice for the Red and Whites outfit as they brush aside their opponents by a whopping 4-0 score line to give Xabi Alonso his first win on his coaching debut.
Moussa Diaby scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up inside 38 minute of the match with seven minutes to the end of the match.
Three minutes later Frimpong got his first goal of the match to put the hosts 2-0 up with just four minutes to the end of the first 45 minutes.
Eight minutes into the second half of the match, Diaby set up Frimpong again to score the third goal of the match to put the hosts 3-0 up and grabbed his second.
Paulinho scored the fourth to make it 4-0. Frimpong has four goals in nine matches this season in the Bundesliga.
