Several Ghanaian social media users have praised Chris Hughton, the new head coach of the Ghana national football team, for fulfilling his promise to attend more local games.
In the past week, Hughton has attended three matches, including a quarterfinal in the MTN FA Cup.
This move has impressed many Ghanaians who have taken to social media to commend him for his dedication to local football.
Hughton, who signed as head coach in March, has already attended some Ghana Premier League games, including a fixture between Asante Kotoko and King Faisal.
The 64-year-old coach, formerly of Brighton and Hove Albion, replaced Otto Addo on a 21-month contract and has made a promising start by recording a win and a draw in his first two games played against Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers last month.
