Bayern Munich legend, Samuel Osei Kuffour has attacked juvenile football development lapses in the country over the years.

The former Black Star player condemned then use of football playing field for other purposes rather than football related activities.

“Where we use to play football, we have used it to build churches now every kid does not get the opportunity to play football outside” the ex-player said on Kessben sport.

“They say a certain woman selling cassava in the market have to pay before his son plays football how can the persons son learn how to play football …..how will my mother be able to pay money for me (Osei Kuffour) to play football”.

The Champions League winner also believes a lot of things done these days are just to please our politicians rather than the good of the country.

“Somethings are being done just to please politicians, but we did not even   think of the country Ghana……when was the last time we said we are going to watch colts’ division”. Osei Kuffour further stated.

There have been a lot of public out cry over the years for the introduction of colt’s football to improve on our local talent.
