Ghana’s 2022 world cup group opponents South Korea are in talks to extend the contract of Portuguese gaffer Paulo Bento  ahead of the Mundial in Qatar.

Bento was appointed as head coach of the Asian side in the summer of 2018 and his contract is expected to expire on June 30, 2022.

Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that the South Korean football federation are happy with his output so far and have opened negotiations with him for extension of his deal ahead of the world cup.

South Korea are in the same group alongside Ghana, Uruguay and Portugal.
