Spanish-based Ghanaian midfielder Baba Iddrisu has been called-up by Ghana’s Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton for the upcoming game.
After missing the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later last year due to injuries, the midfielder will return to the Ghana senior national team.
He returns to the after almost one year absence from the team for the crucial game against the Central Africa Republic team keen to upset Ghana to book a place in the tournament.
Ghana on the other hand must just make sure they avoid defeat against the minnows to make it to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament which will be held in Ivory Coast next year.
He comes in as Thomas Partey’s replacement after the Arsenal FC playmaker picked up an injury.
