Spanish Segunda outfit CE Sabadell FC have completed the signing of Ghanaian youngster Yussif Owusu.
The club announced the arrival of the 20-year-old in an official statement on their website on Tuesday, September 1.
The three-year deal will see Owusu playing for his new club until the summer of 2029.
“The Sabadell Sports Centre and footballer Yussif Owusu have reached an agreement for the player to join the Harlequin team until 2029.
“Yussif Owusu stands out for his youth, his power and his physical ability. Welcome, Yussif,” the club said in their statement.
The youngster, born in England, has played for Brighton’s youth team. He arrives at the Sports Centre after having trained at a Premier League club in recent years.
Despite his youth, Owusu has played for Brighton’s under-21 and under-18 teams and has competed in the main training competitions in English football.
In the past, the defender was also part of the Chelsea academy. He hopes to continue his development at his new club in the next few years.
