German Bundesliga 2 club FC St. Pauli have released Ghanaian defender Christopher Avevor after seven tears together.
Avevor, 31, has been the skipper of St. Pauli for the past four seasons but has rarely being consistent as injuries has taken the better par of him.
In his seven years at St. Pauli, he has featured in 114 games for the club scoring thrice and providing one assist.
The experienced defender can operate in any where across the back four and in defensive midfield.
Avevor previously also played for Hannover, Fortuna Dusseldorf and Holstein Kiel.
